The Ni Hao, Volume 1 student workbook offers a wide variety of fun activities correlated with each lesson of the Ni Hao, Volume 1 textbook. The workbook uses all four communication skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening to reinforce newly learned vocabulary and grammar, build communicative skills, and enhance cultural knowledge. All of the activities can be adapted to suit individual or class needs. Chinese characters are used in conjunction with pinyin throughout the book to reinforce students' reading and writing skills. Students are not required to write exclusively in characters, but are encouraged to use a combination of pinyin and characters. New characters listed in each textbook lesson are also included for writing practice in the workbook, complete with stroke order. This workbook is in traditional characters only.
